Scheduling income over multiple periods

Can the scheduling be updated to allow multiple bubble in each sub project? For example the blue bubble we have already invoiced 3k in Oct, but the remaining fees will likely keep getting pushed back. We can't simply drag the whole bubble as the October 3k will be shifted.

Having multiple bubbles which can be dragged around and fees distributed separately would be super helpful.
